We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant Respiratory Physician to work within a regional tertiary Respiratory service centre on either a Substantive or a 12-24 month NHS Fixed Term basis.Our client are looking for a consultant to join a team 11 chest consultants and the extensive multidisciplinary teams to provide and enhance the service delivery which include 7 day inpatient care, Pathway design and implementation of our brand new purpose built Respiratory Assessment Unit area and Acute Respiratory, Specialist Respiratory Care including TB, Lung Cancer, Sleep, Ventilation, COPD, Pleural Disease, ILD, Specialist Asthma and Cystic Fibrosis, Tertiary Centre for NIV, Complex Asthma and ILD, General Thoracic clinics & Interventional pulmonology lists on both sites.The Department of Respiratory Medicine will also expect them to fulfil other duties such as: Specifically adopt, in conjunction with colleagues, an active role in the planning, development and delivery of the Respiratory Service for the Directorate. Provide direct input to patient care both inpatients and outpatients; contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and lead the co-ordination of care for patients, Participating in the Consultant on-call rota & even undertaking teaching of undergraduate medical students, other learners and trainees alongside providing clinical care during DCC activities.Additional Information - Excellent leadership within the team - 10 P.A's per week. - A well supported & friendly team - Very good safety & quality record - Outstanding nearby Schools - Excellent transport links to both Manchester & Scotland Benefits - Excellent Remuneration packages - Excellent relocation packageIf this might interest you or, you know of someone who may be suitable, then please let me know as soon as possible.
