Theirmitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and due to continued success, they are actively seeking a General Foreman to join their delivery team.This is a full-time permanent position based initially in the Warwickshire area.Your new role As General Foreman, your responsibilities will include:Managing a team of site engineers and section engineersEnsuring all H&S procedures areplied withEnsuring all aspects of the project are effectively monitored and controlledDelivering the project within programme and budgetManaging and monitoring subcontractorsLiaising with the client and designersAttending monthly progress meetings andpiling monthly reportsManaging quality and environmental plans on siteControlling contract costsEnsuring work is delivered in accordance with the specification.What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will bring:Proven experience as a General Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projectsExcellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety proceduresSound leadership and organisational skillsCSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and a full UK driving licence.What you'll get in return In return, you will receive:Negotiable starting salary (dependent on experience)26 days’ annual leave plus bank holidaysFuel cardYearly reviews10% employer pension contributionStructured career development and mentorshipOpportunity to work on high-impact and rewarding projectsCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to grow and advance your career with an industry-leading contractor and more.
