About the School & Your Role Our large, welcoming specialist school supports children and young people aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of SEND needs. We pride ourselves on being a place where every learner feels safe, valued, and included. As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll work alongside passionate teachers and a strong multi-disciplinary team—including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, specialist school nurses, and physiotherapists—to help pupils access learning and thrive. In this rewarding role, you will: • Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students fully engage with lessons • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver holistic, well-rounded support • Contribute to a creative, inclusive, and engaging curriculum • Encourage learners to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills • Support pupils with a range of needs, including complex learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and communication challenges Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who is compassionate, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND. You will ideally have: • Experience in childcare, education, care work, or SEN support (highly valued) • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Math’s and English • Eligibility to work in the UK • A proactive, flexible, and team-focused approach • A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative environment What We Offer By joining our team, you’ll be stepping into a role where you truly make a difference every day.
