Job description Room Leader needed - TN10 - £13.50 ph A lovely setting based within a School in Tonbridge are looking for a Room Leader to join their small, close knit team. This setting has lots of involvement within the school so there are opportunities to work with a range of ages at times. They pride themselves on having a small team within a nurturing environment and encourage extra training to enhance your knowledge, as well as constant support during your career. This setting is open all year round and would like someone to start ASAP, however they can be flexible with regards to full time or part time hours. What benefits the nursery can offer: Competitive Salary, £13.50 per hour Free lunches Company pension Uniform provided Training opportunities Company events What the nursery needs from you: Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher •Experience in a nursery setting 1 year + •Commitment •Passion to deliver outstanding childcare. •Ability to work within a team. •Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding Your duties will include: •Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education. •Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas. •Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones. •Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child. •Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are always followed. •Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basis.
