London, United Kingdom OMNES Full time

Job Details   OMNES is a modern, sustainable, and cost-conscious women’s fashion brand, designing ethically crafted clothing. OMNES means ‘all,’ a reflection of the fact that we all need to work together to change the way we shop, wear, and think about fashion. OMNES focuses on timeless designs with playful pops of print and colour and a considered approach to how their pieces fit bodies of all shapes and sizes. OMNES was founded in London in 2021 to address the gap in access to better wardrobe choices and create a brand that would speak to this unmet need. The fashion industry is one of the world’s most prolific polluters, with millions of tonnes of textiles ending up in landfill every year, and global supply chain workers being underpaid and exploited. The detrimental impact is vast, and improving the ways it operates could make a truly positive difference to the future of our planet and global community. OMNES strives to act as a responsible global citizen, treating the Earth with respect, and aiming to contribute to its repair.   As part of the Omnes product team, you are integral at ensuring we meet our mission of changing the way we shop. Aside from technical experience, organizational and analytical skills are essential, as are good time management and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.   The role: ·       Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Design and our supply base, you'll need to draw on your solid understanding of the various fitting and manufacturing processes and costings ·       Supporting the Head of category to achieve OMNES KPIs, including right first-time sealing hit rate ·       Working with the Design/ Buying team to get a right first-time sample and improve sealing hit rate ·       Taking ownership of the fit and sealing process making improvements where necessary to tech packs and communication ·       Risk assessing product quality standards and production issues including safety, wearer trials, performance, minimum standards, and potential production issues. ·       Using lessons learnt, benchmarking through comparative shopping, working collaboratively with the rest of the Product team and suppliers to make sure OMNES quality Standards are maintained. ·       Analyzing quality issues and customer returns within your department, putting corrective action plans and workable timeframes in place. ·       Ensuring that technical data on the supplier SharePoint is up to date and accurate including Audits and Sustainable credentials ·       Ensuring that the correct block and fabric reference is selected during Design Brief stage prior to being sent to supplier   Your experience: 5+ as a Garment Tech or Senior Garment Tech Assistant looking for their next role Previous experience at a fast-paced retailer Previous experience working with Buyers and Designers as well as an international supply base Expert at measuring and garment patterns and using knowledge to improve fitting and return rates
