NHS – CONSULTANT OPHTHALMOLOGY VACANCYTriple West Medical have been assigned by an NHS Trust based in the West of England help them recruit Consultant Ophthalmologist (Glaucoma) on either a Substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.. Our client is a “Vanguard” site which identifies them as one of the most innovative Trusts in the country and gives them unique access to national support and funding to realise their exciting plans for the future.This is a great opportunity to join a high performing and clinically driven Acute Hospital. The appointee will join a high quality delivering service which is responsive to patients needs and also help develop an integrated service at primary care level. There will also be opportunities for developing research and to be integral in shaping the future of the service. The Ophthalmology department has been restructured to give ownership, responsibility and authority to the Clinical Team to ensure best quality care is provided. This has been demonstrated with recent national audits in cataracts and overall improvement in quality of the service.
