Position: Consultant in Radiology (Interventional Radiology Essential) Location: Northwest UK Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract Dates: 24th June 2024 – 30th September 2024 Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 Salary: Competitive Rates (PAYE only) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Radiology with a sub-speciality in Interventional Radiology to join our team in the Northwest UK for a fixed-term contract from 24th June 2024 to 30th September 2024. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized radiological care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions using interventional radiology techniques. Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures with precision and care. Conduct general radiology duties, including imaging interpretation and reporting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Requirements: Medical degree and full GMC registration. Specialist training and accreditation in Radiology with a sub-speciality in Interventional Radiology. Proven experience as a Consultant in Radiology, particularly in interventional procedures. Strong clinical and technical skills in both interventional and general radiology. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to continuous professional development and education. Work Arrangements: Full-time: Includes both Interventional Radiology and General Radiology duties. Part-time: Includes General Radiology and Interventional Radiology duties.
