Our specialist consultant will contact you if we have a live vacancy that matches, or contact you in the near future as soon a good match to skill set and experience becomes available. *** We are looking for an enthusiastic proofing and pre -press operator to work in a fast paced environment as part of the existing in-house pre-press/proofing team for one of the West Midlands top printers. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: -Supplying proofs to customers for approval prior to production. -Pre-pressing files for production. -Setting jobs up for production in line with requirements listed on works orders. -Pro-actively flagging and resolving issues with supplied files prior to them reaching production. -Taking direction and feedback from senior team members. -Assisting production requirements in line with the needs of the business. What we need from you: -Strong knowledge of Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). -A willingness to learn in the role and develop skills. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with tight deadlines. -Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time. -Knowledge of wider Adobe creative suite would be an added bonus. Required Experience: -2 years’ proofing/pre-press experience -Experience in print industry preferred -Knowledge of printing processes and base materials -Experience in preparing print/cut files essential Share this job:
