Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Great Yarmouth

Working Hours: 8:30am – 17:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch (overtime available)

Salary: Competitive depending on experience (Any overtime as/when required would be paid at time & a half)

Role Responsibilities – Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

Undertaking the repair, servicing and preparation of motor vehicles, including used cars and customer vehicles Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed to the customer's satisfaction Maintaining accurate, detailed records of work undertaken Liaising with customers directly to communicate detailed, technical information in such a way that the customer understands Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

Person Specification: Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

A background in mechanics/as a Vehicle Technician Previous experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work A strong team player Previous MOT Testing experience would be preferred but not essential Main Dealer experience would be preferred but is not essential as Manufacturer's and in house training will be provided Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills A flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently under pressure
