As on of our valued Teaching Assistants, you will play a key role in the maintenance and management of the classroom. You will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as assist in a more general capacity. What’s in it for you? CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: Bristol Position: Teaching Assistant Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, small group work, reading, forest school opportunities, support class teacher in delivering lessons Start Date: Immediate – assignment on-going Rate of pay : £105 – £120 Hours: 08:30 – 16:00 EXPERIENCE Desirable: *Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential) *Experience of working in Primary Schools *Experience of inclusive classroom practice *An understanding/awareness of supporting SEND requirements *Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis *Drives (not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER
