We are looking to appoint an LSA to work within our large team of enthusiastic and nurturing support staff to support individual children with Special Educational Needs in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).Working Hours & FlexibilityFull-Time Hours: hours per week in Support: hoursLunch Time Supervision: 5 hours (additional) Part-Time Consideration: The school would consider part-time posts for the right Options: 20 hours per week, either 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM OR 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday.The Successful Applicant Will:The successful applicant will prioritise building strong relationships with children and adults and will have an enthusiasm and love of learning to share with the children.Working under the direction of the class teacher, the successful applicant will:Support the whole child (emotional well-being as well as academic) through our broad and balanced curriculum.Be flexible and adaptable in meeting the needs and interests of our children.Have high expectations and determination to help children achieve their very best.Essential Skills & ExperienceFor this role, you will need to have good literacy and numeracy skills, as well as be passionate to motivate children to do their best. You will be enthusiastic, understanding and supportive, and be able to build positive relationships with children, while establishing consistent boundaries. A willingness to work as part of a team, as well as taking your own initiative when required, is essential.
