Pulse Mental Health, a leading recruitment agency specializing in mental health services, is seeking a dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our team in London. Position Overview: As a Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of mental health conditions, ensuring the delivery of personalized and effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of adult patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines. Monitor and review patients’ progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Provide psychiatric consultations and support to other healthcare professionals within the organization. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and treatment strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Collaborate with community resources and external agencies to coordinate patient care and facilitate transitions between care settings. Qualifications: Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Completion of specialty training in Psychiatry and certification as a Specialist Doctor in Adult Psychiatry. Proven experience working in adult mental health services, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong diagnostic and assessment skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of Psychiatry. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
