About the role Year 3 Maternity Cover Teacher (Long-term contract)Peterborough £32,000 - £44,000 - equivalent to MPS (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)Jan 2026- July 2026 The School and RoleThis ‘Good’ primary school, based in Peterborough are looking to appoint an experienced, and motivated Year 3 Maternity Cover Teacher to work in a KS2 class on a full time basis. Working in this primary school you will be part of an established and supportive team. This is a full-time maternity contract from January 2026 - July 2026, however part-time (4 days per week) applications will be considered for the right candidate. Requirements To hold QTSKnowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculumEnthusiastic and engaging teaching styleThe ability to provide a positive learning environment and effectively manage a classroomHave recent and relevant teaching experience The desired Year 3 Maternity Cover Teacher will have Experience of working with primary school aged childrenExperience of working with pupils with SENDAn ability to work as part of a team What we offerAs a Year 3 Maternity Cover Teacher, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
