LEGAL RESEARCHER – KNUTSFORD – UPTO £26,000 – PERMENANT
Working for a well-established professional organisation who provide high end training to a wide range of professional services.
Duties include: –
Conducting in-depth research in the latest developments with case law in health and safety law, to inform media output and development of training programmes. Maintaining a close interest in the development and application of health and safety law, policy, and practice, preparing regular articles, blogs, and social media output on behalf of the firm. Update the legislation and case law in the areas of regulatory compliance and enforcement. Proactively building and maintaining a good knowledge of the firm's clients, the industries represented, current caseload, as well as developing a good rapport with the other members of the team. Assisting as required with any client matters, including the organisation of client documents, preparing analyses of case papers, and assisting with requests for legal advice relating to compliance with legal duties. Attending client meetings, meetings with witnesses and others, as is requested, including visits/meetings at client premises or third-party premises in any location. Assisting as requested with the planning, preparing and delivery of all client training events and training programmes including research, materials preparation and participation as may be requested.You must have a law degree, excellent team working skills including communication and prioritisation, a strong work ethic and be computer literate in both Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – full training will be provided on the bespoke systems.
