About the role: You will be working as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic and will be responsible for: Autonomously assess, manage and treat patients Provide treatment to patients with a range of illnesses and injuries Prescribe medication as an independent non- medical prescriber or using PGDs Assess and treat patients aged 2 and above Communicate highly complex and sensitive information to patients, carers, and other staff To lead, motivate and support team members in the facilitation of professional and clinical development Who we’re looking for; All applicants for the role of Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic must have the following; Registered Nurse and valid NMC pin or Paramedic with HCPC registration- with no restrictions Full eligibility to live/ work in the UK Evidence of continuing professional education and training at Masters level or completed level 7 module in advanced practice At least 2 years UK experience in a similar setting ( emergency care, autonomously within a GP surgery) Independent Prescriber (or on a pathway to complete) Experience of caring for patients aged 2 and above Paediatric Nurse Practitioner qualification desirable Competent in physical examination of patients of all ages.
