Our NHS client is looking for a locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their inpatient NHS service team based in Lincolshire. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours for an ongoing period.

As a Band 6 Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work within our inpatient care unit, providing expert occupational therapy services to patients with various medical conditions. Your primary focus will be on assessing patients' needs, developing customized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote their recovery. The post holder will Preferably have a recent background in inpatient rehabilitation, confident with assessment, discharged planning, goals setting working to patient independence, work within the multi-disciplinary team

Therapist's applying for this role must have:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist A relevant degree/qualification within Occupational Therapy Knowledge of specialist equipment Experience of working within a similar NHS setting Good communication skills The ability to think outside the box

Duties within this role will include:

Managing a clinical caseload Writing accurate and detailed reports on patient progress Working as part as a multidisciplinary team Discharge planning Assessments and provision of hoists and slings Devising care plans with family members and/or carers Develop rehabilitation programs to help rebuild lost skills and restore lost confidence
