Senior Strategic Buyer – East MidlandsChase & Holland have today been engaged by an exceptional East Midlands based business, and are excited to be partnering the business to recruit a Senior Strategic Buyer into the growing and developing role is coming about owing to growth and an increase in R&D leading to some exciting plans for the future. The business is extremely well regarded as a leader in it's chosen field, and is a long and very well estblished name.As the Senior Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for:Working with existing suppliers and new suppliers to both increease the efficiency of the existing supplier based while trying to onboard new suppliers to drive positive development. Identifying areas for strategic improvment in the existing supply chain and suggest well founded planns for change Initiating and managing tenderingDeveloping sourcing strategies and analysing spendsBoth inter and intra-datmental communication and stakeholder managementWorking pro-actively to find and identify solutionsMonitoring supplier performanceWorking and leading projectsCollecting data as required and/or performing data analysisSkills & Experience you require:Ability to demonstrate experience within a similar roleStrategic supplier identification and developmentIntermediate level of Excel knowledgePrevious knowledge of ERP systemsAbility to work with large amounts of complex dataStrong negotiations skillsExperience in organising and managing competitive tendersIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Senior Strategic Buyer opportunity, click ‘apply now'.Chase and Holland acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
