Principal Teacher Additional Support for Learning (Permanent)
Hecklegirth Primary School Learning Centre
PT02 - £57,
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Principal Teacher Additional Support for Learning for 35 hours per week within the new Hecklegirth Primary School Learning Centre. The successful candidate will require to manage a team of staff to support pupils with a wide range of significant additional support needs including physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural needs.
A significant relocation package of up to £ may be available to the successful candidate (Permanent positions only). Please see attached guidance for further information.
Applicants for teaching posts must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT in the appropriate sector.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act . From 28 February , preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
