Role Overview They are seeking an experienced OMB/Mixed Tax Manager to join a dynamic and growing Corporate and Business Tax team. This is a client-facing advisory role offering exposure to a wide range of tax projects and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering bespoke tax advice to owner-managed and family-run businesses, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored tax advice across a variety of projects, working closely with partners and specialist teams. Manage and review work prepared by junior colleagues, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity. Lead client communications and contribute to advisory work throughout the business lifecycle. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement tax strategies and preserve desired outcomes. Prepare tax valuations, clearance letters, and HMRC submissions related to reorganisations and reliefs. Advise on employee share schemes (e.g. EMI, growth shares) and prepare valuation reports. Support clients with EIS/SEIS qualifying conditions and advance assurance submissions. Review corporation tax returns and support general practice teams with technical queries. Assist with compliance work, including income tax self-assessment, PAYE, and corporation tax procedures. Candidate Profile Qualified (ACA/ACCA and CTA/ATT). Proven experience advising owner-managed businesses post-qualification. Strong technical knowledge across multiple tax areas including corporation tax, income tax, CGT, IHT, VAT, and SDLT. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax matters. Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word. A collaborative team player with mentoring experience. Organised, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities. Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service and business development.
