Production Manager – Joinery

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking to recruit a Production / Workshop Manager to head up their specialist Joinery workshop in West Hampstead.
This workshop specialises in bespoke in cabinetry & door sets to the most super prime projects in London. You'll be responsible for full management of the workshop and production line of all projects. By overseeing business development, design, estimating, production and logistics.
Duties
Oversee and supervise all aspects of the manufacturing operations Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and meet production goals Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Manage and optimize manufacturing processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, including financial forecasting and cost control measures Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve departmental objectivesREQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS
The role will be open to experienced Production and Workshop Manager who have ideally progressed from the bench and up the management ranks. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and a team player.
Qualifications: – Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial resources, and cost control measures Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to lead our dynamic team.
