Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Acute Mental HealthLocation: HampshirePay Rate: £35 – £40 per hourAbout the Role: Liquid Personnel is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join an Acute Mental Health team of Forensic unit based in Hampshire, where your expertise will support adults in crisis through meaningful, recovery-focused interventions. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will provide patient-centred care as an Occupational Therapist in the Acute Mental Health/Forensic Unit, supporting adults experiencing psychiatric crises or detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA). You will conduct functional and risk assessments, implement tailored therapeutic interventions, and contribute to recovery-focused discharge planning. Working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, you will manage complex mental health needs, including forensic histories. Your responsibilities also include facilitating group therapy, supporting structured routines, contributing to risk management strategies, and adapting to dynamic clinical demands in a secure, rehabilitative environment.
