Job description Finance & Compliance Manager - Belfast (Part-Time)Our client, one of Northern Ireland's leading providers of health, safety, and environmental training, is seeking a talented Finance & Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a respected, forward-thinking organisation recognised for excellence and awarded Gold Learning Partner status for its commitment to quality and innovation.About the RoleAs Finance & Compliance Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business - from bookkeeping and payroll to VAT submissions and reporting - while ensuring full compliance with industry, legal, and regulatory standards.You'll be at the heart of a company that empowers people and organisations across Northern Ireland to work safely, confidently, and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all core financial functions, including bank reconciliations, invoicing, payroll, and VAT returnsOversee compliance with HMRC, Companies House, GDPR, and internal audit requirementsProvide accurate financial reports and insights to managementSupport external audits and maintain impeccable financial recordsEnsure internal processes align with best practice and evolving legislationPlay a hands-on role in maintaining the smooth running of daily operationsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years' experience in a busy finance and compliance environmentStrong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and VAT proceduresExperience using Sage and QuickBooksExceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisationConfident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitudeIntegrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive data
