Treasury Transformation Lead

Robert Half Recruitment is supporting a client undergoing a major global transformation, with Treasury identified as a critical workstream requiring senior, specialist expertise.This is not a traditional BAU Treasury role. The position is focused on leading and delivering treasury solutions across a complex multinational landscape, with particular emphasis on FX optimisation, treasury technology, and payment architecture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, long-term solutions to improve treasury efficiency, mitigate FX risk, and reduce exchange leakage across multiple jurisdictions.Treasury Process Review & Solution DesignReview and document current-state Treasury, FX, payments, and banking operations across multiple markets.Design future-state Treasury operating models aligned to global strategy and regional constraints.Build a global matrix covering bank relationships, account structures, currencies, payment methods, regulatory constraints, and connectivity models.FX & Treasury Operations OptimisationAnalyse, execute, and optimise FX operations, including trade execution and capture within Treasury Management Systems (e.g. 360T).Investigate FX leakage and rate issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable mitigations.Manage and optimise cash positions within regulatory and structural limitations.Analyse payment flows end-to-end to identify inefficiencies, costs, and control weaknesses.Treasury Technology & Architecture EnablementPartner with Architecture teams to contribute to Treasury Technology Options Papers.Evaluate current Treasury tooling against future requirements and business growth ambitions.Support solution architecture design for scalable, future-proof Treasury operations.Market Scan - Treasury & Payments TechnologyLead a structured review of global Treasury and Payment technologies.Assess solutions with focus on:FX optimisation and leakage reductionPayment automationRegulatory resilienceIntegration with existing TMS and banking platformsProduce recommendations grounded in feasibility, control, and long-term sustainability.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
