Salary £25,185 - £25,989 per annum I Pro Rata I Permanent I Part time, Variable hours, 27.5 hours per week I Term Time only I West End Primary SchoolInternational Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship Unit Catering Supervisor (Grade 4) Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the serviceYou will work as part of a team in West End Primary School, Lancaster providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children. Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plansDirect and/or supervise other employees Order supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock controlMaintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygieneWhat we are looking for:Experience of large-scale catering Knowledge of food service and catering in generalOrganisational, cost control and supervisory skillsRecognised supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirableWorking Hours/Days:Monday to FridayTerm time only27.5 hours per week, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
