This role is ideal for a proactive and organised SEND professional who can lead SEND provision and support staff and pupils effectively during this fixed-term period. About the role: SENCO · Lead and oversee SEND provision across the school· Support teachers and staff with differentiation and SEND strategies· Coordinate EHCP processes, reviews, and statutory responsibilities· Monitor pupil progress and the effectiveness of interventions· Work closely with external professionals, families, and the SENCO team· Maintain accurate SEND records and reports· Safeguard pupils and ensure compliance with school policies· Full-time, long-term role until February Half Term· Based in Waltham Forest, North East London The ideal candidate: SENCO · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required· NASENCO qualification preferred (or working towards)· Proven experience as a SENCO or in a similar SEND leadership role· Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills· Confident supporting staff, pupils, and parents· Strong understanding of SEND statutory requirements and good practice Benefits of joining Clarus Education as a SENCO: · Paid to scale (aligned with permanent staff)· Dedicated personal consultant offering ongoing support· DBS advice and guidance· Long-term temporary positions available· £250 ‘Refer a Teacher’ bonus / £150 for support staff Additional Information Please note: Sponsorship cannot be offered for this position SENCO role.
