They will be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills and be committed to supporting the academy’s ethos and values.Key Requirements:• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)• Relevant degree and teaching qualifications• Proven experience teaching drama• Strong subject knowledge• Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Must be able to consistently model outstanding teaching and learning.• Genuine passion and belief in the learning potential of each student• A Drama background and the confidence to teach Drama to KS4 would be needed for this position.• A knowledge of GCSE dramaYou should have a flexible approach, be able to build a rapport with staff and students.This is an exciting opportunity to inspire creativity, build confidence, and help young people find their voice — both on and off the stage, in a highly experienced and supportive environment.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
