This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Ambassador Volunteer Programme, supporting a network of Ambassador Volunteers throughout Devon.
This role works closely with both Devon Information Advice and Support for SEND (DIAS) and Parent Carer Forum Devon (PCFD). DIAS are the statutory service providing impartial information advice and support for children and young people with SEND and their parents. PCFD promote participation of parent carers across the county to enable partnership working with the Local Authority and health services to ensure that services are focused on meeting the needs of children and their families. This role will also link into the Four Cornerstones initiative which is being developed by Devon County Council.

This will require excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills, the ability to develop strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and excellent organisation and time-management. Experience with managing volunteers and project delivery will be an advantage.
The AV coordinator reports to DIAS and PCFD and is line managed by the DIAS Manager. The role requires an ability to work independently and flexibly including occasional evenings and weekends, with an ability to travel across Devon.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 15th May 2025
