Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in North Norfolk.Key Responsibilities:Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.Diagnosing and resolving faults in machinery, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.Supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.Responding promptly to breakdowns to reduce production downtime.Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement improvements.Requirements:Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within manufacturing, production, or a related environment.Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in electrical maintenance.Competency in diagnosing faults in PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems is desirable.Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Engineering).Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.A good understanding of health and safety practices.Working hours:Alternate Shift RotaWeek 1: Monday to FridayWeek 2: Tuesday - SaturdayHours vary from 7am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm48-hour weekIn return, our client will offer the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer the following:Base Salary: £48, - £51,Overtime can be available but is not guaranteed.Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a dynamic and expanding company.A supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and personal development.Comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, healthcare, and paid leave.Staff discount for 's of retailers around the country
