This long-term opportunity offers excellent pay up to £14.29 per hour, consistent overtime, and a genuine temp-to-perm pathway.Position: Automotive Production OperativeLocation: Central BirminghamPay Rate: Up to £16.38 per hourShifts: Rotating Days and nights available 06:00–13:30 / 13:30–21:00 – Double days21:00 – 06:00 – NightsWhat You'll Be DoingYou’ll play a key role in high-precision automotive production, working with advanced machinery to manufacture components for major car brands. Daily tasks include:Operating and setting CNC machinery, including CNC laser welders, water jets, hydraulic presses, and manual equipmentUsing robot welders to produce high-quality automotive assembliesReading and interpreting technical drawings and production plansFollowing strict quality standards to maximise stock usage and reduce scrapMaintaining accurate computer-based stock and production recordsProgramming machines to set up, prepare, and cut materialsHandling components safely and efficiently in line with health & safety proceduresContinuously developing knowledge of materials and processes within the production lineAbout the CompanyYou’ll be joining a renowned manufacturer of automotive structures and engine components, supplying leading global car brands.
