The responsibilities combine those of a Postdoc and Lab Manager: Scientific research in the areas of (nano)photonics and (nano)photonicsmaterials. Training students to conduct research and assisting them with their researchprojects. Equipment and lab maintenance, small-scale equipment repair, softwareinstallation, and communication with service engineers. Purchase of equipment and supplies and communicating with vendors. Writing technical reports and peer reviewed publications. Overseeing the lab safety. Minimum Qualifications Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Optical Engineering,Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline. Candidate should have knowledge and experience in research areas of(nano)photonics and (nano)photonic materials. The applicant’s competency in research should be evidenced by peer-reviewedscientific publications and conference presentations.
