Package: £55,000 – £65,000 plus bonusSkilled Careers are working with a dynamic Main Contractor who specialise in Design & Build and due to excellent growth are looking for an Estimator to join the team. This is a company who know for looking after its own and will give you every opportunity to develop your skillset so you can progress within the business. Role accountabilities: Prepare and review cost estimates, review contractor’s proposals, and participate in negotiations with contractors. Perform accurate quantity take offs. Prepare full project estimates from conceptual design through 100% design and prepare written basis of estimate report associated with the estimates. Prepare full tender analysis. Track market conditions and costs. Cost planning, estimating. Product High Level Budget/Cost Plans. Organise and manage cost estimating database. Qualifications & Experience: Development of project scope and communicate scope with senior management. Educated to Degree level in relevant subject/Proven relevant experience. 4 years of experience in cost estimating and commercial construction work Knowledge of construction means and methods. Cost and commercial background. Experience with cost and procurement advice, tendering and contract formation. Exceptional skills demonstrating attention to detail. Adept in managing and delivering against challenging and competing timescales. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a small but growing team to an aligned set of objectives. What is in it for you? £55,000 – £65,000 per annum. Bonus.
