Job description Prospero Teaching have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced education professionals to provide 1:1 tuition to young people in Chichester and the local area. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to learners who need additional support.As a Tutor, you will: Deliver tailored tuition sessions to learners with SEN, SEMH, trauma-related needs, or those at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX). Plan and prepare sessions that are structured, practical, and paced appropriately. Build positive relationships and provide a safe, supportive learning environment. About you: At least 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as: Tutor Teacher Cover Supervisor Teaching Assistant ELSA 1:1 Support Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons. Empathy and resilience when working with learners with additional needs. Position -TutorContract or position start date – ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) – N/AFull time/part-time – VariedHours – Various/ flexible hoursEssential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people Experience of working with learners with SEN To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
