In this pivotal role, you will lead a large, skilled engineering team, driving operational efficiency and service delivery within a critical banking facility. Your Role & Responsibilities:- As Data Centre Contract Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of one of the most mission-critical sites in the financial sector. Your key responsibilities will include:- Leadership & Team Development: Lead a talented engineering team, driving performance, delivering training, and planning for future succession. Inspire high levels of service excellence and foster a collaborative environment. Operational Excellence: Oversee 24/7 operational management of the data centre, ensuring continuous availability and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs). Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the client organization, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and add value. Engineering & Facilities Management: Take responsibility for all engineering, maintenance, and high-voltage systems, ensuring the critical infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards. Compliance & Safety: Ensure rigorous adherence to health and safety standards, operational protocols, and regulatory compliance within the high-security environment. Commercial & Financial Management: Oversee the contract’s commercial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and driving efficiencies to ensure maximum value and profitability. Commercial Acumen: A strong track record in managing budgets, contracts, and SLAs, with an eye for driving cost-effective, value-adding decisions. Strong Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
