The school caters for students aged 3 to 11 with a range of physical disabilities, as well as associated learning and communication needs. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity to be part of a nurturing, inclusive environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.About the Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with physical and complex needsAssist with mobility, personal care, and use of specialist equipment (full training provided)Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external professionals to meet EHCP outcomesSupport students in accessing a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculumBuild strong, trusting relationships that help students thrive socially and emotionallyPromote student independence while maintaining high levels of care and safety What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with students with physical disabilities or additional needs (in schools or a transferable setting)A calm, patient, and proactive approach to support and behaviourConfidence in assisting with personal care or medical routines (or willingness to train)Excellent communication and teamwork skillsA DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one What we Offers: A supportive Senior Leadership and a warm, inclusive school community.Well-behaved, eager learners who are enthusiastic about their education.Access to excellent resources and continuous professional development.The potential to secure a long-term or permanent role.Weekly pay and support through Protocol Education.
