Job DescriptionEvening Shunter Shift: 6:00pm – 3:00am Pay: £16.50 – £17.50 per hour Location: UK Team Size: Small team of 10 About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on Evening Shunter who can also support our warehouse team during quieter periods. This isn’t a full-time shunting role — when vehicles aren’t being moved, you’ll assist in the warehouse operating a forklift and helping with general duties. Key Responsibilities Safely move and position vehicles around the yard (mainly 18T and 7.5T vehicles). Support warehouse operations during shunting downtime. Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to assist with loading, unloading, and general warehouse tasks. Work collaboratively within a small, close-knit team of 10. Ensure safe working practices and maintain high operational standards. Requirements Shunting experience with 18T / 7.5T vehicles. Valid FLT licence (or experience, depending on your hiring requirement—can adjust). Comfortable working evening shifts. Team-focused with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
