ROLE:Project Manager LOCATION: Cambridge, U.K. SALARY: Negotiable DURATION: Permanent To supervise and guarantee the calibre of project outcomes meets the company's established standards. Adherence to the company's project management protocol is essential throughout project execution. The project manager will supervise every stage of the execution process to ensure timely delivery to clients, staying within budget constraints, and maintaining high-quality standards. Project execution entails generating and assessing engineering blueprints, collaborating closely with clients to strategize system deployment and activation, and ensuring the timely submission of monitoring reports as outlined in the contract terms. Responsibilities: • Project Management: -Monitoring progress across multiple projects and coordinating necessary actions with the team. -Close collaboration with the line manager on customer deployment projects. -Development and management of detailed project plans, along with producing progress reports as required. • Engineering and Integration: -Reviewing, designing, and generating engineering drawings for project execution utilizing CAD software. -Supervising system installation, commissioning, and integration. • Customer Interaction: -Addressing customer queries and concerns throughout project execution. -Serving as the primary liaison between customers and the central team. • Fieldwork and Support: -Active involvement in fieldwork to ensure seamless deployment. -Completion and tracking of required acceptance tests, offering support to deployment teams. • Travel and Training: -Traveling as necessary for project requirements. -Conducting training sessions for customers and new team members on system construction and installation procedures. Skills & Experience: • Proven expertise in project management and engineering within the Oil and Gas sector. • Possession of a relevant Engineering degree. • Proficiency in reading and generating detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks software suites. • Strong grasp of Project Management principles, such as PRINCE2. • Exceptional familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Outstanding customer service abilities and adeptness in conflict resolution. • Demonstrated hands-on team management skills, including experience in guiding diverse and multi-skilled teams. Personal Skills: • Self-driven and proactive. • Proficient in collaboration and teamwork, capable of nurturing and sustaining robust, fruitful relationships. • Results-oriented individual with a track record of meeting deadlines consistently. • Demonstrated agility in handling unexpected challenges, adapting to changes, and resolving non-compliance issues to ensure project success despite unforeseen hurdles. • Possesses a high level of self-awareness and impactful presence. • Able to thrive under pressure while maintaining open communication with the broader leadership team. • Skilled in cultivating and managing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. • Comfortable with managing multiple streams of information and effectively communicating it. • Displays consistent attention to detail across all aspects of work. • Actively pursues continuous training and professional development opportunities.
