Job description Are you passionate about education and supporting young people to reach their full potential?Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting experienced tutors to deliver GCSE Maths, English, or both in Bognor Regis and nearby areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your local community.As a Tutor, you will: Deliver high-quality, engaging tuition sessions Support students in building confidence and improving academic outcomes Work independently or as part of a wider support team Maintain accurate records of progress and engagement About you: Minimum 1 year of experience working with young people in one or more of the following roles: Teaching Assistant (TA) 1:1 Support Cover Supervisor Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Teacher Tutor Or another relevant educational role Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths and/or English Ability to build rapport and tailor sessions to individual learning needs Position – MentorContract or position start date – ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) – N/AFull time/part-time – VariedHours – 10 per week- 2 per day- Monday to Friday- Flexible timingsEssential & Desirable Qualifications: To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people as a TA, 1:1, Cover Supervisor, LSA, Teacher, Tutor, or another related field- ESSENTIAL Experience of working with learners with SEN/ SEMH needs- ESSENTIAL Confident to deliver up to GCSE Maths, English or both Trauma informed- DESIRABLE Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
