An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ecclesfold Resource Centre Catering Team. Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team. You will be supporting the catering supervisor and cook in all areas of the lunchtime service within Eccles Fold Day Centre. Possible tasks include food preparation, cooking, cleaning, portion control, allergen compliance and preparing the dining room for service. Whilst serving meals to our clients all team members help ensure that food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed. We want to help make good lunchtime memories for our clients so it is essential that you can demonstrate an attitude which is appropriate to the day centre environment and to the needs of our clients including those with dementia. Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment. Eccles Fold day centre operates 7 days a week, the successful applicant will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays.
