Job description Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Nursery/ EYFS Practitioner to join a well-established mainstream Primary school which has a nursery unit attached in Salford.This nursery unit, provides essential support and respite to children aged 2-5 years old with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The setting operates alongside school hours, with an 8:30 start and 3:30 finish Monday - Friday.Key Responsibilities:Provide care and education to young children with SEND, ensuring their needs are met in a safe and nurturing environment.Support individual learning plans, using your knowledge of SEND to tailor activities.Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.Maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere and respond to the diverse needs of children in the setting.Contribute to the planning and delivery of fun and engaging activities that promote growth, development, and independence.Requirements:Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, particularly with children with SEND.Knowledge:A deep understanding of SEND and the challenges faced by young children with disabilities or developmental delays.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and has a strong understanding of SEND.
