Initial 3 month contract. We are looking for a practical Production Engineer / Industrial Engineer with an extensive background in metalwork fabrication / manufacturing of steel products. The main objective will be to complete a work study of all key assets and processes, conduct a capacity / demand analysis, support the development of factory planning and on-going improvement plans. As part of the role you will work as part of a team with primary responsibility to conduct an old fashioned work study, with appropriate analysis and creation of an opportunities list and improvement plan. Also support the development of SOPs. This has big implications on capacity of assets and demand planning as well as material flows etc. You will work with the current production team (ops manager, production manager, supervisors etc). The role will suit individuals currently working as Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Production Engineer / Industrial Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Telford, Shropshire, Kidderminster, Dudley, Birmingham, Manchester, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Liverpool, Wolverhampton or be willing to relocate.
