Your remit for this role is to manage a team of around 30 Hygiene operatives. You must have Section Leader (or higher) experience and will report in to the Hygiene Manager, so although you will be able to use your initiative and manage your team as you see fit, the buck does not stop with you and there will be support from someone senior to yourself. You will already have been in a similar role within a food environment and be keen to take on the challenges associated with joining a new business and learning your way around a new site with new protocols. Fundamentally, as an experienced Hygiene Section Leader, you will understand the principles of handling and the use of chemicals and be comfortable in overseeing others in their chemical use. In addition to this, if you have an understanding of how the department operates in terms of budgets and staffing, etc. then that would certainly be a bonus.
