A long-term interim opportunity has arisen for a Property Operations professional to join an international charity, working primarily from their HQ based in the Southwest. You will join an expanding estates and facilities team who are responsible for the management, maintenance and continuous improvement of a wide range of operational building types, ranging from medical facilities, visitor attraction buildings, offices and rural areas.

Your new role
Joining as a people-focussed operations professional, you will lead a team consisting of over 21 operatives consisting of plumbers, electricians, carpenters and multi-trade operatives. You'll coordinate and lead this team to ensure that they are delivering an efficient and high-quality day-to-day maintenance service across the portfolio of various building types. You'll ensure that your team are working effectively, efficiently, and to the required standards and expectations at all times, ensuring value for money and quality are both achieved.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent operational management background, ideally within a property, estates, maintenance, or facilities setting. Experience of managing through change, performance management, budget management, quality management, and workforce management will be highly beneficial.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an interim contract with initial duration of 12 months - however, this contract is likely to extend beyond this point, or could also progress into a permanent and salaried position should this be of interest. You will receive a salary of £55,000, paid to you on a monthly basis across the duration of your contract period in this role.
