Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant in Bromley Job Description Location: England, Greater London, Bromley Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Benefits: PAYEJob Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and developmentAssisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessonsProviding one-to-one support to students as neededHelping students with personal care tasks if requiredAssisting with the management of classroom behaviourSupporting students in accessing the curriculum and educational resources Required Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationExperience working with students with SENGood understanding of safeguarding and child protection policiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsPrior experience in a similar role within an educational settingKnowledge of different SEN conditions and strategies to support themAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certificationTraining in manual handling and personal care tasksAdditional courses in SEN education or related fields Working Conditions: Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends for school eventsRegular interaction with students, teachers, and parentsPotential exposure to challenging behaviours or emotional situationsPhysical tasks such as assisting with mobility and personal care All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
