Your new company

A leading AI business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EMEA Accounting Senior Manager to lead our accounting teams in France and the Netherlands. This is a pivotal role where you'll have the opportunity to shape their financial operations in key European markets, drive process improvements, and contribute to our continued global success. You'll be responsible for the full accounting cycle for these entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy while supporting broader EMEA initiatives and reporting directly to the Senior Director, EMEA Accounting.

Your new role

Lead France/Netherlands accounting teams (collaboration, efficiency). Manage timely/accurate monthly closes (US/local GAAP). Handle audits/filings (US/local GAAP). Partner with the Tax Team on all filings. Oversee accounting schedules/reconciliations (controls). Build global accounting team relationships. Support EMEA Director on projects/process improvements. Participate in system implementation; standardise processes. Support SOX implementation (Finance/Payroll). Optimise close timelines with the EMEA team.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Accountant 10+ years of accounting experience, including proven leadership within a multinational organisation. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams. Familiarity NetSuite Experience with EMEA payroll accounting.
