The candidate should meet the following requirementsJob DescriptionRole DescriptionThe ideal candidate will haveContracts & Proposals Specialist – Cambridge (Hybrid / Remote) Full time | £45,000 to £50,000 I’m supporting a well-established tech organisation in Cambridge that works at the crossroads of clinical research and digital health. They partner with global clients and play a key role in helping new treatments reach patients faster. They’re looking for a Contracts & Proposals Specialist to join the Commercial Operations team. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys bringing structure, accuracy and commercial thinking together and who can turn complex requirements into clear, professional proposals that help win new work. What you’ll be doing ✨ Prepare and coordinate high-quality proposals and project budgets ✨ Work closely with technical and commercial teams to shape accurate submissions ✨ Draft and review SOWs and other contract documents ✨ Support RFI responses and manage end-to-end submission timelines ✨ Keep proposals and contracts updated through CRM and reporting tools ✨ Recommend improvements to make the proposal process faster and more consistent What they’re looking for 👉 Background in proposals, contracts or commercial operations within scientific, technical, healthcare or digital environments 👉 Understanding of budgeting, pricing and commercial documentation 👉 Clear, confident written and verbal communication 👉 Strong with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems 👉 Organised, adaptable and able to juggle multiple deadlines 👉 Able to travel to Cambridge for hybrid working (around two days a week)
