Graduate Town Planner – CambridgeLocation: Cambridge Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 (dependent on experience) Contract: Permanent, full-time Are you an ambitious Graduate Town Planner looking to kickstart your career with a forward-thinking consultancy working on some of the most exciting regeneration and development projects in the region? We’re working with a highly respected planning and development consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable projects across the UK. Their Cambridge office is growing rapidly and now seeking a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join their collaborative team. You’ll be involved in a range of projects from day one – from major mixed-use schemes and infrastructure developments to strategic urban extensions and town centre regeneration. The role offers excellent exposure to clients, local authorities, and multi-disciplinary project teams, providing a solid foundation for your APC progression toward Chartered RTPI status. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals. Assisting with policy analysis and development plan representations. Undertaking site appraisals, research, and report writing. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and environmental consultants on complex projects. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to deliver positive planning outcomes. About You A degree (and ideally a master’s) in Town Planning or a related discipline accredited by the RTPI. Strong analytical, written, and communication skills. Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn within a supportive professional environment.
