The school supports primary-age children with a wide range of needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and physical disabilities. Your Day to Day: Every day at the school is different You will work closely in a class of 8 to 10 students, alongside the class teacher and another teaching assistant, to help create a fun and engaging learning environment. This Specialist school have a big emphasis on hands-on learning, and making a difference. You will be: * Helping students develop real-life skills, through cooking, outdoor education and animal therapy * Supporting children with their communication and social skills through sensory play and interactive activities. * Encouraging confidence and independence within every pupil. The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant: The school are looking for someone who is friendly and caring, with a positive attitude and true resilience. Previous experience working with children is beneficial, whether professional or personal experience.
