The school provides a nurturing setting focused on care, safety and wellbeing. About the role:The caretaker will ensure the school buildings and grounds are well-maintained, secure and compliant with health and safety standards. Duties include routine maintenance, managing contractors, site security, and supporting daily operations. We’re looking for a dedicated candidate to: Carry out general repairs, maintenance and minor improvements Ensure the premises are clean, safe and secure at all times Conduct regular health and safety checks Oversee site access, deliveries and contractors Support with setting up rooms and site operations Requirements –The ideal candidate would have: Previous experience as a caretaker or site manager (preferably in a school) Strong understanding of health and safety procedures Practical maintenance and DIY skills Good communication and organisational skills Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply Only shortlisted candidates will be contactedProspero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
