It is an exciting and fast-paced place to work.Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Accountant will:Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the accounting & finance team.Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Experience in financial reporting and compliance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.Ability to work collaboratively within an accounting & finance team.A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvementsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £75,000 per annum (depending on experience).Permanent role offering job stability and growth opportunities.Be part of a respected large organisation.Opportunities to develop your career in accounting & finance.Supportive and professional working environment.If you are ready to take the next step in your career as a Senior Financial Accountant then please contact Ben Copsey at Michael Page or apply for more details .
