Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Peterlee Location: Peterlee Pay: £89 to £110 per day (depending on experience) Start: Immediate Contract: Ongoing, long-termIf you’re the calm in the storm, this one’s for you.We’re supporting a nurturing SEND setting in Peterlee looking for a thoughtful, confident Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils who need a little extra care and consistency.It’s meaningful, rewarding work with a team who genuinely values their support staff.Your role: • Providing 1:1 and small-group support • Offering emotional and behavioural guidance • Helping pupils access learning in their own way • Working with SENCO, therapists and teaching staffWe’d love to hear from you if: • You’ve worked with SEND before, or you’re keen to learn • You stay calm under pressure • You communicate well and build trust quicklyA quick question before we go any further: Are you Thrive trained?
